The vision
Strengthen Torah and Chassidish family life in Flatbush.
What began as a practical promise to families has grown into a daily operation moving children and yungerlait across Brooklyn.
Rabbi Benzion Frankel, Sasregener Rav in Flatbush, has worked to build Torah and Chassidish family life in Flatbush. The project is not only about a kollel building or learning schedule — it is about creating the conditions that allow yungerlait and their families to actually live and grow in the neighborhood.
One of the major challenges was education. Participating families wanted their children to continue learning in heimishe mosdos in Boro Park. Transportation became part of the support promised to those families.
The program began smaller roughly two years ago. Today it transports approximately 45 children on a regular school day with four late-model Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. More than 80 yungerlait are also transported daily to and from the kollel.
The service is private, nonprofit and built around a defined group. It is not meant to operate like a public car service. The purpose is to support the larger Torah/community project while operating transportation responsibly and professionally.
